Malawian artist Driemo took the opportunity to visit Geoffrey Kapusa, better known as Mr. Splash, the former host of the music program “Music Splash” on Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

Kapusa gained attention a few weeks back when a video went viral on social media, depicting certain MBC members donating a variety of items to him. This gesture came about after they became aware of the difficulties he was facing in his life, as evident from his tearful appearance in the video.

The video triggered diverse responses among users of social media platforms. Some pointed fingers at Kapusa’s former spouse for leaving him in a state of loneliness and distress, while others came forward with contributions of money and assorted items to assist the iconic figure.

Sharing his thoughts on his Facebook profile, Driemo conveyed his sentiment that Kapusa had played a significant role in nurturing prominent figures within the music industry and thus was deserving of admiration.

“Following my activities with Cosoma, I proceeded to meet Uncle Geoffrey Kapusa. He is the individual who contributed to the rise of the notable figures we hold in high esteem today. Those who play a part in shaping legends warrant abundant love and reverence.”
